J-Wand® Semi-Rigid Intubating Stylet without Flexible Introducer. Oxygen port standard 5-7mm 02 connector. One hand thumb release. Anatomically correct curvature. The unique port design allows direct oxygen delivery and supports apneic oxygenation (AO) techniques. The original J-Wand employs an anatomically inspired stylet curvature with a flexible curved tip which protrudes from the end of the ETT. Upon insertion the flexible tip follows the natural anatomic curve of an anterior airway and mirrors the curve of current video laryngoscopy (VL) blades. This design allows the J-Wand stylet to completely bypass the piriform recess, and directs the tip of the ETT directly into the laryngeal opening, speeding intubation times and decreasing risk of airway trauma.
